"Since 1992, Jazz Montana has brought many of the biggest names in jazz to Bozeman for performances and educational programs. In the future, we want to continue to bring this kind of talent into the area.
Over the recent past, such jazz greats as Bobby Hutcherson, Joey De Francesco, Trio Da Paz with David Schancez and Maucha Adnet, the DjangoReinhardt Festival Band, Paquito D'Rivera, Nancy King and Brian Bromberg, as well as many of the best Montana-based jazz musicians, have all appeared at the annual Jazz Montana concerts held in Bozeman. In addition, Jazz Montana has encouraged music education by awarding annual scholarships, sponsoring educational clinics, sponsoring performances by local jazz Musicians and including student musicians from the area in our annual concert.

A community-based, non-profit organization run by a volunteer board, Jazz Montana is committed to increasing its educational support to young local musicians. At the same time, Jazz Montana will continue to bring more jazz performance to the people of southwest Montana. Music education and jazz performance are the goals of Jazz Montana.
